Who is eligible for these services?
Seniors 65 and older and ambulatory. Canes and walkers are permissible but the individual must be able to walk and get in and out of a car with minimal help.
We do expect clients to take advantage of other programs or resources available to them so that our services are available for those who need them most. Click here for a list of other resources in our area.
Is there a charge for the services?
There is no charge for our services, however donations are always welcome. Our services are provided caring, loyal group of volunteers.
What is the first step to secure this assistance?
Call our office at (609) 921-8888 to discuss your needs. If eligible, a member of our staff will arrange a visit to register you as a client.
What geographic areas does Senior Care Services of Greater Princeton serve?
Currently, we serve clients within a ten-mile of Princeton.
How far in advance does a client need to call to request a ride?
Clients must call at least the week before the medical appointment to request a ride. Rides may also be requested well in advance of an appointment. SCSGP recommends that clients call as soon as they make an appointment so that the staff can put it on the calendar.
